Onstage: Monuments of Melancholy is a series of interventions on historic sites in Wyoming using theatrical lights, recreating their history informed by local storytelling. The resulting photographs, videos and audio documentation were then used to create an installation based on daily life ephemeral structures like scaffolding or construction structures, addressing the melodrama granted to events and places, the line between fiction and reality, or history interpretation.
